--Awards Night Recognises the Best of South Cheshire Business 2007

A record entry of 70 companies and two new categories crowned a superb night for the South Cheshire Chamber Business Awards 2007. 

The finale to the annual search for the district’s business stars, held in association with the Chronicle, was staged at Wrenbury Hall on Friday and presented by Janine Machin of the BBC’s Look East programme. Chamber vice-chairman Ian White welcomed everyone to the Awards, including the Chairman of Cheshire County Council, Neville Price and the Mayor and Mayoress of Crewe and Nantwich, Maurice and Ann Jones

The biggest category in terms of entrants was the Start-Up Business of the Year Award, sponsored by Cheshire County Council.  Recruitment Consultancy and research services company Cheetham Hall Ltd from Nantwich was the winner.
